Chubby is a sculptural bench that combines a solid, monolithic presence with the warmth and tactility of plaster. Formed as a single volume from a seamless mould, Chubby’s plaster surface is smooth, sealed and softly weathered.

Individually hand-cast by a skilled workshop on the borders of England and Wales. Formed as a seamless mould, one piece at a time. Surface variation and tonal shifts are inherent to the casting process. Made to order with an approximate 8 week lead time. Bespoke finishes and dimensions available on request.

Made to order (8 week lead time). We offer UK and international delivery. As all items are made to order, shipping costs vary according to the piece, destination and access requirements, and are quoted at the time of enquiry. International transit typically takes 1-2 weeks by air freight, excluding any time held in customs. Wooden crating may be recommended for certain products and is charged separately. Both curbside and white glove delivery options are available, with logistics support and tracking provided throughout. Before placing an order, we recommend checking access to ensure the piece can be delivered safely into its final setting. Guidance on measuring access is available on request. Each piece is individually cast in Jesmonite by traditional artisans in Wales. The mineral-based material features natural variation in tone and texture and retains signs of the making process.
The curvaceous bench is shaped on a recessed plinth that creates a subtle shadow gap beneath the form.
Chubby’s generous, curving seat contrasts with clean-cut ends. Bold lines given a soft finish when rendered in plaster.
Produced in a reinforced, weather-resistant plaster composite that is engineered to withstand exterior conditions.
